Every ZEN that you spend in-game on items gets you closer to rewards. Make sure to qualify by Sunday, though, because this promotion is only available for a limited time.

Start time: 10 AM Pacific, 5/21 (Tuesday)

End time: 11:59 PM Pacific, 5/26 (Sunday)

On May 26th, we’ll start pulling data on how much ZEN each character spent. More ZEN means better prizes – we’ll have three tiers of rewards available.

Please note, Agents: Only ZEN that is spent on items will count, not ZEN that is transferred into Blacklight. If you buy one of the rare taunts available this week, for example, that ZEN spent counts towards these prizes.

Remember that in addition to getting these bonus points for spending ZEN, you’re getting the item that you bought. Think of this as a bonus miles program, instead of spending ZEN directly on these rewards.

Reward Tiers:

500 – 999 ZEN: The Emergency Relief Camo (optimized for hardsuits).

1000 – 2999 ZEN: The Emergency Relief Camo, plus a brand-new helmet, the Overmatch R-12 BattleAxe. This is not a skin, this is a completely new helmet. The BattleAxe has the following stats:

+13% Armor

-0.3 Stamina

-0.27 Run

-1.6u/s Recharge

3000+ ZEN: The camo and helmet, plus the Chronos hero and his Chronos’ Electronic Warfare skin. This skin was previously only available through the Neverwinter Founder’s Pack.

These rewards will be sent out inactive in late May or early June, after we do a data pull, so they will not be visible in the marketplace. Spent ZEN will qualify your character for the rewards, not your account – so if you spend on both the US and EU regions, you can qualify for rewards on both, but their separate spend totals will be what matters, not their combined total.

Make sure to spend and qualify by 5/26, and keep an eye on your in-game mail!

The Gold Onslaught Pack, with permanent unlocks of Year 1 content, has returned to Blacklight. Make sure to get yours fast, though: They’re only here for one week!

The Onslaught Packs are the key to limitless customization, and access to almost everything that Blacklight has to offer. Coming in Gold, Silver, and Bronze varieties, all three packs unlock all the receivers, gear, and tactical gear – plus, the Gold and Bronze Packs unlock everything else that could be bought with ZEN.

The Gold Onslaught Pack includes everything you could get with ZEN, and it’s all perm. You’ll be able to play around with every possible gear loadout and gun design. This is a bundle with every prize you could ever want. This pack includes items released up until 2/26, when we launched Onslaught and had our anniversary.

Agents, victory alone is insufficient – to truly achieve dominance, your enemy must be taunted. This week, get rare taunts in daily flash sales!

Every day, a new taunt will go on sale, and the previous day’s taunt will be retired back to the vaults. Each of these taunts will be 300 ZEN for a perm version of the taunt.

The first of these rare taunts is already available: Challenge enemies to Bring It, if they think they can handle a juggernaut like you. Each of these taunts will only be available for a very limited time, though, so stay alert – log in to Blacklight and check Facebook to find out what’s available each day.

This week only, the Burstfire SMG will be completely free! Make sure to pick up your daily BSMG every day this week with the Weekly Weapon Pack.

The BSMG is built for mobility, sustained fire, and a little bit of range flexibility. The BSMG fires a four-round burst each time, with some of the lowest spread available for a leadspitter. The BSMG puts shots on target when firing from the hip or on the run, so fast runners can keep the shots flying between cover.

Unlike the normal SMG, the BSMG has some flexibility to fight at range. It’s designed for close-in combat, but it has a moderate range and decent spread while aiming. The BSMG will still be outclassed at this by mid-range guns like the Assault Rifle, but the BSMG can pick off low-health stragglers before they reach cover. 

The Burstfire SMG’s stats (compared to the basic Assault Rifle):

Damage: 50 -> 43

Ammo: 30/120 -> 28/112

Spread – Aim: 0.80 -> 0.86

Spread – Hip: 2.29 -> 1.72

Spread – Move: 4.15 –> 2.84

Firerate: 650 -> 750

Scope In: 0.15s -> 0.30s

Recoil: 3.85 -> 2.54

Range: 45/100 – 30/80

The BSMG is in the weekly weapon rotation starting 5/21, and will rotate out with maintenance on 5/28.

This week, every helmet model is discounted 20%, both for GP and ZEN! Plus, three brand-new helmets will be available in flash sales this week, so keep on eye open for what’s available.

This includes all of the base helmets, but not the special skins, like the Bloody Bonebreaker or the Skull Knuckle.

Helmets generally determine your HRV’s recharge and duration, so to keep an eye on enemy movements, choose helmets carefully. Having HRV charged and ready can be the difference between life and death, so make sure your helmet complements your build.

This sale also includes Prex’s elemental-defense helmets. Use these three helmets to reduce explosive, toxic or incendiary damage – they’re situational, but against a team dependent on those damage types, these helmets save virtual lives.

In addition, three new helmets are about to make their entry into Blacklight. These are variant skins of existing helmets, with the same stats and pricing – note that they won’t have the 20% sale this week.

Artemis is a Hardsuit specialist hero, and wears her pilot’s suit into battle. Artemis comes with a brand-new taunt, Flight – she knows how to celebrate a goal. With all her training, M. Akimoto is ready to join the ranks and hit the battlefield.

Artemis’ custom SMG is built for mobile, mid-range firefights. The spread is generally worse than the factory-preset SMG, but the scope sees further and the SMG is easier to run with. Her custom burstfire pistol is similarly designed, with a zoom of 1.80 instead of the default 1.30.

Artemis is now available for 2000 ZEN.

Plus, the other heroes of Blacklight are answering Artemis’ call to action. Every day, starting at midnight PDT, a hero will be discounted 25%. Right now, Duchess is discounted from 2000 ZEN to 1500 – you’ll have to pick her up before midnight, though, when she’ll switch out with another hero.
