Blacklight: Retribution – Free to Play FPS | Open Beta Date Announced!

The wait is nearly over! Blacklight: Retribution will enter Open Beta on February 27th!
On 2/27, the floodgates will open and Blacklight: Retribution will official be open for business. Characters and progress from the Closed Beta will be wiped, and all players will start fresh and new on the same footing. From the 27th and on, all progress will be kept, and the race to domination will begin!
The launch of the Open Beta will also be the kickoff for numerous events, as well as the addition of new content into the game. Three new maps, custom built Hero characters, and the Data Node system will all be available. More information about all of these will be available in the near future.
We want to send our thanks to all of our Closed Beta testers for helping shape Blacklight: Retribution into what it is today. Numerous changes, tweaks, and additions have been implemented based off tester feedback. We wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for all of you.
Open Beta, February 27th. Be there!

um... my game wont start. i go to the launch the game it does it's updates and when i click play now it immediately crashes. it doesn't even go black for a moment to change the resolution. does anyone have a fix?

I have a "can't activate item for a unknown reason" problem. So I can't activate or buy things. This problem is since today.

very ridiculous, so make a good campaign to launch a game full of errors, although most of all congratulations for the game and everything it offers!

the reason there were "errors" is because their servers werent prepared for the amount of ppl that came online to play. i know for sure that in anyon one of the 4 cb phases they had, there was no more than 40 ppl playing at one time. when the game hit OB, over 300 ppl logged in to check it out. if ur server is used to sustaining a small amount of players one week and then gets flooded, their are goin to be some major issues. they just werent prepared for the amount of ppl that wanted to play BLR. i personally havent had any lag or found any errors watsoever. its a BEAUTIFULLY built game. most of the cb testers like myself will agree with me.so if ur havin a problem with errors, work on ur settings. cuz chances are good its on ur end.

Too many problems, not enough people fixing them. Releasing games before they're ready is absolutely rediculous. I looked forward to this game for a long time for nothing. Thanks guys.
